Sacramento Children’s Museum (SCM) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2005. Our mission is to provide a stimulating environment where children and their families can learn through exploration and hands-on activities. Our founders, comprised of local educators, attorneys, librarians, physicians, business people, and children’s advocates, envisioned a place where learning is both exciting and enriching. In 2011, after years of hard work and dedication, we opened our 7,000-square-foot museum, built by Roebbelen Contracting, Inc. to the public. Here at Sacramento Children’s Museum, we strive to meet the needs of children from birth to 8 years old and beyond!
