At Sandra Gail Morgan, we understand the importance of early intervention for autistic children and the need for speech therapy. If your child is very verbal and says a lot of words, they still might need to work on communication skills such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics and using gestures. If you’re noticing any delays in language development, it’s important to take action as soon as possible to give your child the best chance to grow into a more independent and confident individual. Our guide to speech therapy will provide you with everything you need to know about the process and how it can help your child.
At Sandra Gail Morgan, our speech therapy services are designed to help your child effectively communicate with others in any environment. Our speech therapists use various methods, including gestures, signs, verbal speech, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). We strive to help children with nonverbal skills, speaking clearly, understanding questions, recognizing facial expressions and emotions, understanding body language, and managing feeding and swallowing, such as stuttering. Our goal is to help your child reach their communication potential.
