Sid Wesseldine founded SDW Consulting to help families by providing expertise, knowledge, and professionalism in the special education world. With his unique approach to student advocacy, Sid has earned a well-respected reputation in the field and continues to set every child up for success. Aside from his work as a special needs advocate, Sid has dedicated countless hours as a volunteer for both children and adults. His volunteer work includes 15 years as head coach of the Virginia Rush TOPSoccer program and 5 years as the TOPSoccer Committee Chairman for the Virginia Youth Soccer Association. Sid also served as Competition Director of the Soccer Skills Championship for the Virginia Special Olympics State Games for 10 years and will serve as the Tournament Director of the Soccer Team Competition for the Virginia Special Olympics State games in August 2021. He was the recipient of the Virginia Rush Volunteer of the Year in 2006 and the Virginia Youth Soccer Association Dave Williams Award for Exemplary Service to TOPSoccer.
