SNAP (Special Needs Aquatic Program) is a research project based in the Bay Area that is dedicated to understanding the unique challenges and opportunities faced by people with disabilities who receive Social Security benefits. Our research team strives to gain insight into the everyday experiences of those navigating the guidelines of Social Security, work-related restrictions and opportunities, and the impact it has on their lives. Our goal is to use our findings to develop innovative strategies that ensure disabled people have access to the resources and support they need to live a successful and independent life.
