Special Olympics Alaska – Central Peninsula is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to help these athletes realize their fullest potential and create a more inclusive and unified community. We provide a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for our athletes to grow and develop both physically and emotionally. Our sports are tailored to meet the individual needs of each athlete. We strive to create a positive atmosphere for our athletes and families, through which we broaden their horizons and create a more compassionate and understanding world. We are committed to giving our athletes the best experience possible and to promoting acceptance and respect for all.
