Special Olympics Arkansas – Batesville is dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our program offers free training, equipment, and competition to our athletes, made possible through individual donations, private and corporate sponsorships, state appropriation, grants, and special fundraising events. Our goal is to give everyone with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
