At Special Olympics Delaware, we’ve been dedicated to providing sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities since 1971. Our 19 sports have empowered over 4,300 Delawareans to show that no disability is too big to overcome. With our transformative program, we strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment for all our athletes. We believe in the power of sport to foster acceptance and self-confidence, and to create a strong sense of camaraderie among our athletes and their families.
