Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) is a nonprofit organization that provides programming for athletes in all 102 counties of the state. SOILL is organized into 11 geographic Regions, each with its own team to implement programming at the local level. Region B, which covers the counties of Lake McHenry and North Suburban Cook, is managed by a Region Director and supported by a team of individuals responsible for sports programming, fundraising campaigns, outreach, communication and education initiatives. With the help of its team, SOILL provides athletes with exciting opportunities to compete in events such as their Region Qualifier and the State Championships.
