Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) is a non-profit organization providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We cover all 102 counties in the state, and are organized into 11 geographic Regions. Our Region G, which covers Ford, Iroquois, Livingston, Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford counties, is dedicated to providing athletes with a safe and secure environment for training and competition. Our Region Team is made up of a Region Director, sports programming personnel, fundraisers, outreach coordinators, communication and education specialists, and more, all of whom work together to ensure the best experience for our athletes. We strive to provide athletes with the opportunity to participate in meaningful sports activities and competitions, with the ultimate goal of advancing to the State Championships.
