At Special Olympics Kansas, our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential through sports training and competition. We strive to provide athletes with a safe and welcoming environment to develop their physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and build relationships with their peers, families, and the community. Our athletes take part in a variety of Olympic-type sports year-round, giving them an opportunity to showcase their gifts, skills, and friendship. Through our work, we hope to create a more inclusive world and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
