At Special Olympics Kentucky – Nelson/4 | Bardstown, we strive to empower and include individuals with intellectual disabilities through year-round sports training and athletic competition. We offer a variety of Olympic-type sports to give these individuals the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. Our organization is founded on the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, acceptance, and inclusion.
