Special Olympics Maryland – Charles County is a year-round program that offers athletic conditioning, training, and competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities who are 8 years of age and up. Our program is operated in partnership with the Department of Community Services to promote physical and emotional growth among individuals with disabilities. Our goal is to create an inclusive environment that encourages physical development and emotional growth. We strive to provide a positive experience for all athletes, coaches, volunteers and families. Our program is designed to create a safe and competitive space for athletes of all abilities to learn, grow and excel.
