Special Olympics Michigan- Area 13 is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through our athletes’ participation, they can gain physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy. We provide a supportive environment for our athletes and their families, with the help of our volunteers, coaches, and staff. Generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses help fund our program, allowing us to make our athletes’ dreams become a reality.
