Special Olympics Michigan- Area 2 is a non-profit organization that offers year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, courage and joy while participating in activities that foster friendship and sharing of gifts, skills and abilities. Supported by caring volunteers, coaches, family members and staff, our athletes are able to achieve their goals and dreams. We rely on the generous donations of Michigan citizens and businesses to help fund our program.
