Special Olympics Michigan- Area 26 provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes have the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy through participating in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, Special Olympics athletes, and the community. With the support of our dedicated volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, our athletes are able to achieve their dreams. We are grateful for the generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses that provide funding for our program.
