Special Olympics Michigan- Area 35 provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes benefit from physical fitness, courage and joy, as well as the opportunity to build friendship and share gifts, skills and friendship with their families, athletes and the community. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, coaches, family members and staff, our athletes have the chance to achieve their goals and dreams. We are supported by generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses, which make our program possible.
