Special Olympics Michigan- Area 7, is a non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, courage, and joy while participating in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship amongst their families, fellow athletes, and the community. Our athletes are supported by caring volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, and our program is funded by generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses. Our mission is to provide athletes of all abilities a chance to achieve their dreams.
