Special Olympics New Mexico (SONM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) through sports and inclusion. We offer year-round training and competitions in 12 Olympic-style sports for children and adults with ID, and have served over 3,700 athletes statewide. Our mission is to build inclusive communities, empower our athletes to reach their fullest potential, and help improve their quality of life. With our commitment to creating a better future for all, we strive to make a positive impact in our athletes’ lives and communities.
