At Special Olympics New York – Hudson Valley, our mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-style sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We strive to give them the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share their gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, fellow athletes, and the community. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can develop their full potential. Our goal is to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to become more accepted and respected members of society.
