Special Olympics Oregon – Wasco-Sherman County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to give them the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and build relationships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. We strive to empower individuals to reach their full potential through sports, health, education and leadership programs. Through our programs, we aim to create a more inclusive and accepting environment for everyone.
