Special Olympics Oregon-Washington County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to give them the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and build relationships with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment for people of all abilities to participate in Olympic-style sports and activities. Through our programs, we strive to empower our athletes and give them the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our goal is to help create a more inclusive and accepting world by breaking down barriers and uniting people of all abilities.
