Special Olympics Pennsylvania – Carbon County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to empower these individuals to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share their gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. Through our various events and programs, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society. We are committed to promoting understanding, acceptance, and respect for all people with intellectual disabilities.
