At Special Olympics Texas – Hurst, we are dedicated to providing people with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-style sports. Our mission is to empower athletes by giving them the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share their gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other athletes, and the community. We strive to create awareness and inclusion through sport, giving athletes the opportunity to reach their full potential and gain confidence in themselves.
