At Speech Unlimited, Inc., we understand how important it is to recognize if your child needs speech therapy. If your child has difficulty with social communication, such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics, or using gestures like pointing, it may be an indication that speech therapy is necessary. Early intervention for autistic children is a crucial factor in language development and can help children become independent and confident individuals. While it may be obvious when a child is struggling with speaking, it can be difficult to know for sure. That is why we have created a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about speech therapy so you can be confident in your decision.
At Speech Unlimited, Inc. we understand that speech therapy can be a powerful tool to help children effectively communicate with the world around them. Our speech therapists are dedicated to helping children develop nonverbal skills, such as signs and gestures, improve their verbal speech, and even learn Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). We also provide support in understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing and understanding body language, and feeding and swallowing. Our goal is to help your child reach their highest level of communication potential.
