St. Vincent’s Home (SVH Services) is an orphanage founded by St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Roanoke, Virginia on March 1, 1893. The home is staffed by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Kentucky, and is operated as a DBA (“Doing Business As”) under its parent organization. With the establishment of Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC) in 2009, SVH Services expanded its scope of services to include educational support for orphans and later graduates. In 2016, SVH Adult Services and SVH Family Services were introduced, allowing the organization to provide a complete lifespan of services for individuals and their families.
