STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way is a Darien-based organization established in 1952 to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We provide a wide range of services, from Early Childhood Intervention through our STAR Rubino Family Center to High School Transition Programs, Adult Employment Programs, Adult Day Supports and Residential Living, Senior and Memory Care Day Services, Family Supports and Recreational Programs. Our mission is to create a world where everyone, regardless of ability, has equal access to the same opportunities. With over 600 individuals served, we are dedicated to lighting the way for those in need.
