STAR, Inc. Lighting the Way has been helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families for almost 70 years. Established in 1952, STAR is dedicated to providing Early Childhood Intervention Services, High School Transition Programs, Adult Employment Programs, Adult Day Supports, Residential Living, Senior and Memory Care Day Services, Family Supports, and Recreational Programs to individuals in New Canaan and the surrounding area. We strive to ensure equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities in their home communities, so they can live their best life. Our goal is to provide quality services that enable individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential.
