At the Stern Center for Language and Learning, we are a nonprofit educational center dedicated to helping children and adults reach their full potential. Since 1983, we have been providing high-quality direct service, professional learning and research to enrich the lives of learners. Our services include research-based learning evaluations, customized instruction, social learning and communication services, as well as customized professional learning programs and systems-change initiatives. We specialize in working with students of all ages, including those with learning disabilities, dyslexia, language disorders, social learning challenges, autism, attention deficit disorders and learning differences. Through the Cynthia K. Hoehl Institute for Excellence, we use proven strategies in early literacy, oral language development, reading, written language, social-emotional learning, executive functioning, and autism to make a difference.
