Dr. Steven Lovitt of The Neurology Center has over 15 years of experience in both General Neurology and Neuromuscular Disease. He completed his Neurology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a 2-year Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disease. Dr. Lovitt specializes in EMG studies and nerve conduction studies, as well as muscle and nerve biopsies. He served as the Co-Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic and the ALS Clinic when he taught at the medical school in San Antonio, Texas. Additionally, he was selected to serve on the United Council for Neurologic Sub-specialties committee responsible for writing the national examination required for licensure in Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology. With his extensive knowledge and experience in the field, Dr. Lovitt has been providing quality neurological care to The Neurology Center since 2003.
