At TEACCH Greenville, we provide a variety of services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the northeastern region of North Carolina. Our services include diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning and implementation, education, consultation, supported employment assistance, training opportunities, and research. As a University-based system of community regional centers, we offer core services as well as unique demonstration programs that meet the clinical, training, and research needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their families, and professionals. Founded by Dr. Eric Schopler in 1972, TEACCH has become a model for other programs around the world. We provide various clinical services such as initial referral and consultation, diagnostic evaluations, family consultation sessions, parent support groups, social play and recreation groups, individual counseling for higher-functioning clients, and employment services. We also offer training nationally and internationally, and provide consultation for teachers, residential care providers, and other professionals from a variety of disciplines.
