The Arc Eastern Connecticut is an non-profit organization founded in 1952 with the mission of providing advocacy, employment opportunities, in-home supports, life skills training, recreation, supported residences, and person-centered, community based services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Eastern Connecticut. Our organization was established by families in both northeastern and southeastern Connecticut who sought opportunities for their children who at the time were not welcome in the public school system. We are committed to providing quality services and are proud to partner with national, state, and local chapters in order to be a powerful advocacy force for full inclusion throughout Eastern Connecticut. With over 800 people served, The Arc Eastern Connecticut is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities reach their full potential.
