The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are passionate about supporting their full inclusion and participation in the community, now and into the future. Our goal is to ensure that all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. We provide advocacy, education, and training to promote understanding, acceptance, and respect in an effort to create a more inclusive Harrisonburg and Rockingham community. Through our programs and resources, we strive to empower individuals and families on their journey to independence.
