The Arc of Oakland County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and full participation of all individuals with intellectual and other related developmental disabilities. Our goal is to improve systems of support and services, connect families, inspire our community, and influence public policy. We are funded by memberships and the generosity of individual donors, and we provide educational, research, and advocacy services to individuals and families throughout Oakland County and beyond. As a local affiliated chapter of The Arc Michigan and The Arc of the United States, The Arc of Oakland County works to improve the quality of life for children and adults with cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities in every community, and to prevent the causes and effects of intellectual and other related developmental disabilities.
