The Arc of Southern Maryland, founded in 1975, is a private 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with The Arc of Maryland and The Arc of the United States. We are dedicated to providing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the support and services they need to be active members of their communities. Our extensive network of human service agencies is committed to strong civil rights advocacy and protecting the needs of those we serve. With commitment and passion, The Arc of Southern Maryland is on the frontline to ensure every person with an intellectual or developmental disability is given the chance to reach their full potential.
