The Arc of St. Clair County is committed to protecting the human rights and advocating for full inclusion and participation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide services, support, and advocacy for over 500 residents in St. Clair County every year. Our mission is to foster change and expand opportunity for those with I/DD, allowing them to strive for and attain their goals. We champion civil rights for people with I/DD in areas such as special education law, housing, health care, recreation and more. We work with our community to foster respect, raise awareness and change attitudes to create a society that embraces full acceptance and inclusion. The Arc of St. Clair County is a private non-profit funded solely by the support of our community. We are a United Way funded agency and our commitment is 100% to the community we serve.
