At The Arc of the Eastern Panhandle, we understand how important it is for children to develop and use their communication skills. Speech therapy is often recommended for autistic children, and is a key focus of early intervention. If your child is struggling with communication, such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, or understanding body language, they may need speech therapy. It’s important to act quickly, as there is a critical period in the brain for language development. Our comprehensive guide to speech therapy can help you determine if your child needs therapy, and provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision. Reach out to us today to learn more about how we can help your child reach their full potential.
