The Arc of the Piedmont was founded in 1954 by a group of passionate parents and friends of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to supporting and advocating for full access to human and civil rights for those with disabilities through school and community inclusion. Our mission to ensure equal rights and opportunities for those with disabilities remains steadfast and uncompromising. We strive to provide the highest quality of care and services for individuals and their families, and are committed to promoting equality and inclusion for all people.
