The Arc of Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties has been providing advocacy and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1966. We are a local chapter of the national advocacy organization, The Arc, which was founded by local parents with children with Down Syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to create a supportive environment that promotes independence, self-determination and dignity for people with disabilities. We strive to ensure that our clients and their families have access to the resources and services they need to lead fulfilling lives. Through our advocacy, programs, and services, we are dedicated to creating a community where all individuals with disabilities can reach their full potential.
