Have questions?

At The Autism Program of Illinois Central Office, we understand the importance of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adults. ABA therapy helps improve communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills, while also reducing challenging behaviors. Our mission is to provide the resources, tools, and information needed to help individuals and families navigate the ABA therapy journey. We use evidence-based methods and principles to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. Our comprehensive guide to ABA therapy can help you get the most out of the treatment.

At the Autism Program of Illinois (TPOI) Central Office, we understand how hard it can be to make the right decision for your child when it comes to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We want to be sure to emphasize that the goal of ABA therapy is not to “fix” your child’s autism, but rather to provide them with the skills and support to help them reach their full potential and embrace their individuality. We have a comprehensive guide to help you start and end ABA therapy, so you can make the best decision for you and your family.

The Autism Program of Illinois | Central Office understands that the cost of ABA therapy can be a concern for parents. We want to ensure you have the most up-to-date, accurate information on the cost of ABA and how to get the insurance coverage you need. We understand that ABA therapy is usually covered by insurance if your child has an autism diagnosis. We also want to make sure that you know that insurance will typically only authorize ABA services for an autism diagnosis since its benefits have been extensively researched. It is important to always check with your specific insurance plan to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnosis and that the provider you are seeking care at is in-network. To help parents stay informed, The Autism Program of Illinois | Central Office has created a comprehensive guide to ABA therapy and its cost.
