Its mission is to protect the rights of children and youth, helping them overcome barriers and transition into adulthood, better advocate for their needs, and contribute to society. CLC offers legal advocacy services in both Kentucky and Ohio, and works with other organizations regionally and nationally. The organization’s work includes public policy, training and education, impact litigation, and juvenile defender support services, all aimed at improving the systems that serve youth.
