The Exceptional Foundation is a Homewood, Alabama-based organization that provides unique opportunities to promote lasting friendships, healthy living, life skills and community involvement for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our year-round social and recreational services include full day programming for adults, after-school programming for school-aged children, and a summer camp. We strive to create a safe, professional environment where our families can thrive, and to enrich the well-being of those we serve.
