The Faison School and Peninsula School serve students between 18 months and 22 years old, providing a range of educational services and programs. Our Lower School Program is for students up to 11 years old, Middle School Program for students ages 11 to 14, and Upper School Program for students ages 14 to 22. Additionally, we also offer an Independent Learner Program for students of all ages, an Employment Academy Program for students ages 14 to 22, and a Life Skills Program for students ages 16 to 22. We specialize in providing resources for children with complex neurological and behavioral challenges too severe for public school, as well as those studying at grade level. The Faison Center is accredited by the CABAS® Board and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities (VAISEF) and licensed by the Virginia Department of Education. Our programs are designed to meet the increasing demands of early diagnosis of autism and to provide quality educational services.
