At The Fort | Adobe Speech & Hearing Systems, we understand that it can be difficult to know if your child needs speech therapy. If your child is autistic, speech therapy is almost always recommended since many people with autism have difficulty with social communication. Even if your child is very verbal, they may still need help with communication skills such as responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics, and understanding other people’s body language. Speech therapy is a great way to ensure that your child has the best chance of success and is able to communicate effectively. We have a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about speech therapy so that you can make informed decisions about your child’s care. Visit our website today to learn more.
At The Fort | Adobe Speech & Hearing Systems, we believe that speech therapy can help children of all ages develop the communication skills they need to effectively interact with the world around them. Our speech therapists are committed to working with your child to help them improve their verbal and nonverbal communication, including forming speech, understanding and responding to questions, recognizing facial expressions, noticing body language, and managing stuttering. We strive to provide the highest quality of care and look forward to helping your child reach their communication goals.
