About Therapeutic Recreation Services

At Therapeutic Recreation Services of the Roanoke Valley, we have been providing outstanding recreation services for individuals with disabilities for more than 40 years. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to gain the knowledge and skills to develop a quality leisure lifestyle that meets their interests and needs. We strive to provide personalized, comprehensive care and recreational activities to ensure a high quality of life for our clients. Our dedication to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment ensures that all individuals are able to experience the joys of recreation. Whether it’s through our inclusive programming, outdoor activities, or social events, we strive to offer a holistic approach to recreation that encourages personal growth and well-being. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and enriching leisure lifestyle, and we are here to make it happen.
