Threshold Community Program

Threshold Community Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the social, emotional, and educational growth of neurodivergent individuals and their families within a therapeutic learning environment. Located in Decatur, GA, the program offers a range of services, including tuition-based programs, residential support, hourly and summer services, and family services. They cater to adolescents and adults who have struggled in other settings, particularly those on the autistic spectrum, with social communication challenges, learning disabilities, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Threshold Community Program has a comprehensive approach, providing individualized plans, social-emotional growth, wellness, and transition services to help participants develop the skills and confidence needed to live purposeful, active lives. With a focus on equity, inclusion, and advocacy, the program aims to create a culture that values all forms of diversity, identity, and relationships. Their expertise in learning disabilities and information processing differences, combined with the DIR/Floortime model, enables them to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and development in social-emotional and cognitive areas.
