Dr. Tom Hyde, founder and Senior Partner of Hyde Eyecare, opened his practice in Bristol, Tennessee in 1976. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Carson Newman and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Dr. Hyde is a respected leader in his field and community, having served as past president of the Morristown Rotary and founding president of Lakeway Ducks Unlimited, past chair of Church Council at First Methodist Church, and Scout Master or assistant for Boy Scouts for 29 years. He is currently Chairman of the Road Commission, an elected official for the past 20 years, and active in the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.
