Tuned in to Learning® is a San Diego-based music therapy song team founded in 2004 by Autism Specialist and Music Therapist, Michelle Lazar, MA, MT-BC, along with Dr. Jeremy Jensen, Psy.D, Psychologist, and their talented team of Music Therapists. This team specializes in curriculum development, staff training and classroom consultation with the aim of helping teachers better utilize music with their students. Their educational songs address common IEP goals with simplified language, extended response time and are field-tested in the educational setting. Visual supports, such as flashcards and real life photographs, were also designed to match the same types of cues students had access to in the school setting. Tuned in to Learning® has become a comprehensive curriculum that is used in schools, therapy clinics and home programs worldwide.
