UMKC Institute for Human Development (IHD) is an applied research and training center for human services based at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). We strive to build a strong connection between UMKC’s academic resources and the community, and are proud to report to the Office of the Provost. Our team of experts provide cutting-edge research and training solutions to help individuals, families, and communities lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. We are committed to advancing the field of human services and serving as a leader in research and training initiatives.
