The Vermont Assistive Technology Program (VATP) is Vermont’s federally-funded AT Act Program, managed by the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living and partnered with the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion (CDCI) at the University of Vermont. The mission of VATP is to support full access and integration for Vermonters with disabilities and aging-related needs in education, work, and their communities. Our vision is that everyone’s potential will be supported holistically and that Vermonters will have access to assistive technology across all systems for independence and self-determination. The CDCI operates three regional AT Tryout Centers, providing AT services to Vermonters across the state, and those who don’t live in Vermont can find their state’s AT Act Program on the Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs (ATAP) website.
