Vermont Legal Aid, based in Burlington, is committed to providing comprehensive civil legal services for those with disabilities in our community. Our Disability Law Project (DLP) works to ensure that people with disabilities have access to the legal representation they need, offering a range of services from brief counsel and advice to full representation. We also advocate for children with mental health diagnoses, providing assistance with special education, access to mental health treatment, and other services. For adults with mental health diagnoses, we refer them to Disability Rights Vermont. At Vermont Legal Aid, we strive to ensure everyone has equal access to justice.
